Whilst Bublé topped Viagogo’s chart for the number of tickets resold, Robbie Williams tickets topped the chart for the most expensive music ticket traded in 2009. Tickets for his appearance at the Roundhouse for the Electric Proms went for a staggering £655 (€724) a ticket. Viagogo UK director Ed Parkinson commented: “Live music has dominated the media this year and has reminded people how enjoyable watching live music is and it would seem that the recession has not kept fans at home.
