| New HMV-Mama Group Deal Good for Seatwave? |

OP/ED - One has to wonder if Seatwave will benefit from a potential deal between HMV and Mama Group recently announced in the press. The music and entertainment retailer made a £46m bid for the group, which owns the Hammersmith Apollo in London, Edinburgh Picture House, London’s Jazz Cafe and the representation for big-name artists, including Franz Ferdinand.
HMV already has a deal with Seatwave to sell tickets in their shops. And How HMV appear to be going into the live music business via venues - but it also also has a management business, which represents bands including the Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand and White Lies.
