With a budget of almost $50m (€34.5m/£30.8m). Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark is reportedly the most expensive Broadway production of all time. The show was due to open on 25 February, but production stopped last summer because of financial difficulties. The musical features a score by Bono and The Edge from rock band U2. Producers said the show was "moving forward" and an opening date, for later in the year, would be announced soon. According to the producers’ statement, Ticketmaster will contact relevant ticket holders and anyone who purchased tickets can request a refund or wait to exchange tickets once a new performance schedule is announced. Ticket holders will receive a full refund, including booking fees, and the producers will pick up the cost of the processing fee (which would not normally be re$50m (E34.5/£30.8m). funded).
