Viagogo Gambles On Jones’

altviagogo has teamed up with Ireland's biggest bookmaker Paddy Power and has today announced that if three different Jones’ score a try against France during the Six Nations tie at the Millennium Stadium, all fans who bought their tickets on viagogo will receive a full refund.

With only a point difference separating Wales and France in the 2009 table, the match looks set to be a tense and exciting affair this time around. As a result, viagogo has seen unprecedented demand for the tie on February 26th. Paddy Power has the French listed as 13/8 favourites for the 2010 title, and while the Welsh Dragon will be wary of her continental neighbour, she is unlikely to be intimidated by the French who last won the title in 2007.

With a possible five Jones’ in the squad, and a combined total of 766 points scored between them in their international careers, the possibility of a Jones hat-trick is very real. Should such an event occur, all fans that purchased tickets to the February 26th fixture on viagogo from January 1st 2010 onwards will receive a full refund for their purchase.

Ed Parkinson, viagogo UK director, said:

“If all five of the Jones’ take to the field against France, there is significant possibility that customers could see their tickets refunded.  It would be a commentator’s nightmare, but a Wales fan’s dream. They get to be part of the action on the day itself and if they get their money back, may well be able to stand an extra round in the pub to celebrate!”

Paddy Power said:

“On paper France is the favourite for this fixture but you can never tell with the French as to which team is likely to turn up. One thing you can be sure of is that the Welsh will be very fired up for the game. It is not often you see three tries scored in a match by three people with the same name, but in sport anything can happen…This money back guarantee will make the game even more of a nail biter for fans who bought their tickets on viagogo.”
