Swiss Primary Ticketer TicketCorner and Infront renew partnership
Ticketing is increasingly important to organizers of major sports events - it has become a job for specialists. Infront Sports & Media and one of the leading European providers of ticketing solutions, Ticketcorner, have met this need by extending a strategic partnership. Swiss primary ticketing company Ticketcorner AG and Infront Sports & Media have extended their partnership to the end of 2012 and their aim is to focus the two companies on providing ticketing solutions for international sporting events.

The international sports marketing agency is partnered with approximately 130 sports rights holders and manages an average of five big sports events worldwide on a daily basis. The company is a leading global marketer of media and sponsorship rights in the sports world.

The aim is to continue to  leverage all synergies in the marketing of major international sports events by approaching the market together. The companies will identify areas of new cooperation within the extensive sports property portfolio of Infront as well as other new business opportunities in the sports market industry.

Through the partnership with Ticketcorner the Infront Group now covers many of the primary service aspects of major sports events, including hospitality, perimeter advertising, client servicing, venue dressing, and ticketing in a European-leading vertical.

In 2009 Ticketcorner was partner of the Organizing Committee 2009 IIHF World Championship, a joint venture between Infront and the Swiss Ice Hockey Association (SIHA). As a service partner, Ticketcorner wrapped up the ticketing for the 2009 IIHF World Championship in ice hockey in Switzerland.
