Ticketing Industry Seeks Innovation - Ticketing Professionals Praise Fresh Approach By Jewel Labs
Ticketing professionals praise fresh approach by Jewel Labs Europe’s leading ticketing professionals gathered last week at the Europe Talks Tickets conference in Amsterdam to share the latest developments in the industry. Amongst the many familiar faces, debutant Jewel Labs presented its ticketing system Z-Tickets to the industry.
Ticketing veterans raved about the approach of this new system: “I was very impressed with Z-Tickets”, says Andrew Thomas, Director at PatronBase UK, “the pricing factors built in are superb.”Another industry innovator and leader of the Danish market, Jeppe Michael Jenssen, CEO of Billetlugen, commented “I liked what I saw of Z-tickets. The design, functionality and architecture of the system is innovative and robust”, while Trina Jones, General Manager at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, added that Z-Tickets has “the prettiest front-end in the world”.

“We are overwhelmed by the positive response to our system”, reacts Lancelot Schaper, CIO of Jewel Labs. “When we created Z-Tickets we wanted it to offer users something really different - a complete solution to their problems with ticketing.

Many systems that we have been working with in the past are somehow limitative. We are very glad that our vision and the resulting product has been received so well by industry experts.”

Built in the Internet era using the dynamic programming language Ruby on Rails and expertise from high-demand transaction systems in other industries, Z-Tickets offers an integrated, versatile ticketing solution for theatres, festivals, cinema’s and ticket resellers. Due to the usage of cloud computing its capacity is fully scalable, while it requires no local servers or hardware installation.

Jewel Labs is an international ticketing software company founded by people with extensive box-office experience and is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
