Robert Lepage's Cirque du Soleil to Start in Europe in 2010

Cirque du Soleil, for the first time ever, is bringing its latest production to Britain, rather than launching in North America, as a springboard for a European tour.
The tenth, Robert Lepage directed, touring show, premieres in Montreal on April 22, before going to Quebec City.

According the The Stage Online, it will then open in Amsterdam on October 7, ahead of its usual residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall in January 2011. A Cirque spokewoman would only say:

“The tour plan for Cirque 2010 is not yet finalised.”
