CTS Eventim Picks Up Two New Theatres
CTS Eventim picked up two exclusive deals for ticketing operations at  both at the St. Pauli and at the Hansa Theater in Hamburg last week.

The German ticket giant will first take over ticket sales for the St. Pauli beginning in third quarter, 2010 and for the next season, from October 2010 to February 2010, at the Hansa.

Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater is not only the oldest private theater of the city, but one of the oldest theaters in Germany. It is positioned near Hamburg's Reeperbahn district is the city's oldest private theatre and is currently headed by general manager Thomas Collies and director Ulrich Waller. Through many top appearances, with "The Threepenny Opera," "Six dance lessons in six weeks," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", "Cabaret" and "The Taste of Honey," from Liechtenstein to Berlin, it is an ambassador of Hamburg for the city.

The Hansa Theater was a integral piece of Hamburg for many years - as much a part of the city as the port, the Michel and the Reeperbahn. In 2001, when the final curtain fell, it was simply unthinkable for many residents of the city.

But heads of the St. Pauli Theater, Thomas Collies and Ulrich Waller fulfilled their dream of raising the curtains,  With the support of seveal parties, the  former jewel of the city reopened, in January 2009. Now into its third, highly-successful season, the October 2010 to February 2011 promises to be a smashing fourth year.
