World Cup Kick-Off features Alicia Keys and Black Eyed Peas

altAlicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas and John Legend will be joined by African and South American musicians  for the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert in Johannesburg on 10 June

Other acts include Colombian Shakira, Mali duo Amadou & Mariam and guitarist Vieux Farka Touré, as well as Benin's Angelique Kidjo.



South Africa’s line up is still in the making but currently includes BLK JKS, the Parlotones, and folk singer-songwriter Vusi Mahlasela

The Kick-Off concert takes place Johannesburg’s Orlando Stadium in the Soweto township. It's the first time FIFA has staged a multi-artist "kick-off" concert.

Tickets priced from 450 rand ($62) to 1,150 rand ($158) are now on sale.
