All New Mamma Mia! Returns to Glasgow

Smash-hit musical Mamma Mia! is returning to Scotland next year for a four-week run from March 5 until April 3, 2011. When the show was last in Glasgow, it broke all previous box office records with ticket sales of 85,000 during the month-long stay.

One of the show's producers admits they should have stayed longer and Glasgow - famously name-checked in the Abba song Super Trouper "When I called you last night from Glasgow" - was on the top of his wish list to return to.

The Mamma Mia! International Tour is now in its sixth year and has been seen by more than three million people in 45 cities in 28 countries including China, Lithuania, Greece, Taiwan, Hungary and more recently New Zealand.

For the Glasgow run there will be an all-new production with an all-new, as yet unannounced cast.
