European Athletics Championships Day Tickets in Barcelona, Spain, on sale from April 1, 2010
This final phase of ticket sales for European Athletics' flagship event will run until the championships, which take place 27 July to 1 August. Multi-day tickets have been on sale since September for six or three days with more than 8,000 passes already sold. As with the multi-day tickets, prices for daily tickets are very affordable. Full-day tickets for the morning and evening sessions start at 10 euros. Morning session tickets can be purchased from as little as 3 euros to 10 euros.

All purchases can be made through Servicaixa (www.servicaixa.com) or the Barcelona 2010 official website www.bcn2010.org, except for morning session tickets, which can only be purchased at the stadium box office.

About 350,000 tickets will be on sale for the 20th European Athletics Championships at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, which will have a 32,000-seat capacity during the event.

Both the Opening Ceremony on 26 July and the five road events, which will take place in Barcelona's city centre during the morning sessions, will be free of charge.

The Barcelona 2010 Organising Committee is working on free public transport for all ticket holders from Plaza Espanya to the Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc Mountain. This service would run in both directions during the whole day.

For the first time for a major sporting event in Spain, fans will be able to print out tickets they have bought at home. This "home ticketing" system is a convenient way for fans to ensure they have their tickets without having to pick them up.

Otherwise, fans can collect tickets at ServiCaixa cash points and at the stadium box office.

Daily ticket prices (in euros) divided into the four different zones of the Olympic Stadium:

Tuesday 27 July 80 40 20 10
Wednesday 28 July 80 40 20 10
