Boyz II Men Cancel Bulgaria, Romania Concerts; Cancel “Farewell” Aspect of Tour Altogether!

Rhythm and blues group Boyz II Men have cancelled concerts in Bulgaria and Romania. They were due to perform in the Winter Palace in Sofia on May 5, the first stop on the European route of what was supposed to be a farewell European tour. But, when the group apologized for not being able to stage a concert in Bulgaria, according to the Sofia news agency, Novinite, they also said they hoped that Sofia would host one of their concerts in the future, making it clear that this tour is not their last.

No reason was given why the band decided to skip the two concerts. Instead of Bulgaria, the Boyz II Men official website has them playing Basel, Switzerland, on May 5.

Tickets for the Sofia show were scheduled to go on sale on April 6 oneventim.bg. On April 9, tour organisers, NG Partners said that the sale was delayed because of technical reasons and the concert would happen as announced.
