The Hunt for Champions League Final Tickets is on

107Bookies are saying it’ll be a close thing when Inter Milan play Bayern Munich for the Champions League on May 22. Tickets for the clash, at Madrid’s Bernabeu stadium go sale next week, according to Inter, but are already available in the online marketplace.

Early reports hinted that Inter will be favored to win their first European crown since 1965 as many feel Jose Mourinho is the best manager in all of Europe, especially after his victory in the Champions League with Portuguese outsiders, Porto. But Bayern are a force to be reckoned with - Germany’s most successful team, with 21 titles and 14 cups, including four European Cups, they won the Bundesliga with one game to spare.

Both teams will be missing important midfielders as Franck Ribery has lost his appeal after a red card in the first leg of the semifinals, while Motta will also miss the match.

Bayern and Inter fans will both receive 21,000 tickets for the match.  Bernabeu stadium has a capacity of 75,000 so there will also be tickets available on the secondary market – some, no doubt, from unlucky fans who speculated on their team winning a place in the final.

At time of writing, tickets were still available at Viagogo for £1,346 (€1,582) and World Ticket Shop for £1,165 (€1, 295).
