Who? The Doctor Who to Tour Europe
Doctor Who is going on a UK tour for the first time - with Daleks and Cybermen apparently fighting it out live on stage. The UK Sun reports today that Huge replicas of the Time Lord's arch enemies are being created for the big-budget arena shows. With 25 dates at nine UK arenas including Birmingham's NIA, Wembley in London, and Glasgow's SECC is expected to make some much needed millions of pounds for BBC Worldwide.

Other baddies such as Judoon, Weeping Angels and Oods will also appear - with fresh storylines, huge special effects and a full orchestra. However, the new Doctor Matt Smith will not appear in life - however, he and Karen Gillan have filmed special videos that will shown on giant screens.

Show boss Steven Moffat promised it will have the same excitement as the BBC1 drama.

He told the Sun: "This is everything I ever wanted since I was 11. "A live show, with all the coolest Doctor Who monsters, a proper story, and brand new screen material for Matt Smith's Doctor! I'll be writing scenes for it - and probably attending every single night."

The show will be set in wartime London and end with an epic battle.

The shows start at Wembley on October 8 and end in Belfast on November 7.
