Bon Jovi ripping the roof of the London O2 - Literally

altBon Jovi band has taken to the sky and performing on top of the O2 Arena in London during their tenure as 'house band' at the premier UK venue. According to Billboard, the band staged an rooftop gig on Friday to launch their 12-night run.

"Performing in windy conditions on a temporary stage located in the middle of the O2's domed roof, the band played four songs -- "We Weren't Born To Follow," "Superman Tonight," You Give Love A Bad Name" and "It's My Life" - before beginning the 30-minute descent, assisted by mountaineering experts," said Billboard.

Standing at over 50 metres high, mountaineers were brought in to assist the band in topping the former Millennium Dome. Backup bands include One Republic and Kid Rock with The Side warming up the crowds.

The band is halfway though a 12-show residency at the 20,000-capacity London O2 venue, and Bon Jovi Tickets are still available. From “Living on a Prayer” to “When We Were Beautiful”, it's truly a blast from the past!
