Marcus Evans - Owner of UK'S Ipswich Town - Faces FIFA World Cup Ticket Investigation

altThe UK Mail Online is reporting that FIFA is investigating Marcus Evans, secondary ticket entrepreneur and owner of UK'S Ipswich Town Football team, to find out how his company, Marcus Evans Group (MEG) came into possession of tickets for 100 clients - who attended a lavish dinner at the six-star One and Only Hotel in Cape Town before the England game against Algeria. Evans’s company boldly flaunted their move by holding the food event in the same hotel where FIFA overlords are bedding down in Cape Town.

Evans, who guards his privacy to the extent that the only website picture of him in existence has been pixellated, has London 2012 lawyers all over his selling of unofficial six-figure Olympic Games packages, write the Mail Online.
