Aston Villa and Viagogo Team up to Launch New Ticket Exchange Facility

altAhead of the new Premier League season, viagogo, one of Europe’s largest online ticket exchanges has today announced a new partnership with Aston Villa Football Club giving the club’s fans a secure and legal way of trading match tickets.

The deal makes viagogo Aston Villa’s official ticket exchange partner providing season ticket holders with the opportunity to re-sell football match tickets they cannot use to like minded fans. The service will enable fans that have spent their hard earned money on a season ticket, to recoup some of the cost back for matches they cannot attend.

Aston Villa will join a growing number of Premier League clubs working with viagogo in providing a safe and secure online ticket exchange facility for their season ticket holders. viagogo holds successful ticketing partnerships with Manchester United, Chelsea FC and Bayern Munich as well as a number of the world’s leading sports properties including WWE, Roland-Garros and The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Paul Faulkner, Chief Executive of Aston Villa said “viagogo has unrivalled experience in providing top football clubs with a safe and secure ticket exchange facility. At Villa we always strive to offer our fans the best possible experience by working with first class partners, and we are certain that the new viagogo ticket exchange facility will provide an invaluable service to season ticket holders and other fans who may not have been able to buy tickets for in demand matches”.

Edward Parkinson, director of viagogo UK said “Aston Villa is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in England with a loyal army of supporters. The new service will reward season ticket holders for unused tickets and help the club fill seats that would have otherwise been empty”.
