Christine Aguilera To Leave Label For Live Nation Entertainment

altChristina Aguilera’s flop of a CD,  ‘Bionic’ may be piled up on store shelves across Europe, but that has not stopped her from pushing on with her career.

According to online reports, her last attempt at a  recorded album has persuaded the former superstar to part ways with long-time label RCA/Sony Music, for a move to Live Nation Entertainment (LYV).

Her deal with Live Nation Entertainment was likely initiated by her current manager Irving Azoff - who also happens to be the Chairman of Live Nation Entertainment.

Reportedly worth millions, the 360 deal will see Live Nation Entertainment control all facets of the singer’s career  – music, touring, merchandise and endorsements.

The signing will no doubt be a major coup for the global entertainment powerhouse, who -  over the last two years have struck similar deals with Madonna, U2, and Jay-Z.
