FutureTix Launches Web-Based RFP Tool

altFutureTix, has developed a first-of-its-kind web-based Request-for-Proposal (RFP) tool called FutureTix RFP. The system customizes an RFP specifically for each venue, and then distributes it digitally to the vendors for their online responses. FutureTix clients use FutureTix RFP to easily weigh vendor questions and score vendor responses. The comparative analysis tools help clients make informed decisions.

The San Francisco Giants, Florida Marlins and University of Nevada, Las Vegas are the recent success stories for FutureTix, Inc. Each has used the consulting firm to analyze ticketing platform functionality and compare vendor's financial offerings.

"FutureTix RFP played an integral part in our search for a ticketing platform as we prepare to move to our new ballpark in 2012," said Claude Delorme, Executive Vice President, Ballpark Development, Florida Marlins. "FutureTix provided us with the latest knowledge of industry standards and defined the parameters so that we were in a position to optimize our ticketing agreement."

"Every three to five years, venues are faced with a multi-million dollar decision regarding the renewal of their existing ticketing platform contract," said Dan DeMato, President of FutureTix. "With mergers and acquisitions, and the ticketing industry sprouting new revenue generating technologies, it is imperative that venues are certain they are maximizing their ticketing opportunities, fan experiences and finding the perfect fit."

In an unrelated announcement, FutureTix, Inc. has formed a select group of blue chip ticketing professionals to participate in its Ticketing Industry Leadership Team (TILT). The group will meet regularly to discuss and review the latest in revenue generating ticketing functionality with a particular focus on trends and the future direction of ticketing and admissions in the entertainment industry.

TILT Participants Include:

Bob Beatty - Madison Square Garden; Wendy Brown - Michigan State University; Brendan Bruss - PMI Entertainment / Green Bay Gamblers; Tom Gillis - Ottawa Senators/Capital Tickets; Curtis Howells - Consolidated Printing; Veronica Lawlor - LA Lakers; Josh Logan - Houston Rockets / Toyota Center; Tracy Noll - Penn State University; Brian Sayre - Playhouse Square; Russ Stanley - SF Giants; Joan Sullivan - NY Mets; Karen Sullivan - New Meadowlands Stadium.

"With ever-evolving technology branching rapidly in a variety of directions and a confused economy, there is a need now more than ever to identify and perhaps even steer the direction in which ticketing is heading," said Dan DeMato, President of FutureTix. "This group of elite ticketing professionals will work together to spot and predict trends and keep us all moving in the right direction."

FutureTix RFP adds a level of objective, analytical detail never before available when evaluating potential ticketing platforms.
