| Miami Heat and Ticketmaster Open Secondary Ticketing Exchange |
|
Accoring to NBA.com, beginning Monday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m., the general public will have access to tickets on ticketExchange and tickets available on ticketExchange are sold exclusively by HEAT Season Ticket Holders. HEAT ticketExchange is the only secondary ticketing option that is guaranteed by the Miami HEAT. It is a safe and convenient way for fans to purchase tickets that would be unavailable otherwise, including lower bowl tickets. Ticket prices for the HEAT ticketExchange program are established by each individual Season Ticket Holder when they post their tickets for sale and there's no markup limits. “I’m delighted to say that much of our ticket inventory is selling very quickly. However, ticketExchange is a viable opportunity to purchase tickets from a trusted source,” said Eric Woolworth, HEAT President of Business Operations to NBA.com. “We can’t stress enough that the easiest, safest and only guaranteed way to purchase tickets through a resale outlet is through ticketExchange where fans can rest assured their tickets will be honored when they arrive at the AmericanAirlines Arena on game night.” HEAT fans purchasing tickets via ticketExchange may have their tickets delivered to them via “ticketfast” (similar to printing a boarding pass from a home computer / printer) or they will have the option of a “paperless ticket,” which will require them to show their designated form of identification (credit card, driver’s license, etc.) to the ticket taker as they enter the AmericanAirlines Arena.
