Worldticketshop sees 30 percent increase in sales with launch of marketplace

altWorldticketshop has launched its long-awaited marketplace for buying and selling tickets which promises fans of live entertainment in music, sports and theater they have a new platform where they can secure coveted tickets. The first version of the ticket platform was released in September and with regular feedback from a network of vendors and it has been continually tested and optimized.

"Finally it's here" says CEO Sebastian Monteban. "A great moment for all employees of Worldticketshop because we have been working for two years on the technology behind our marketplace," As expected, ticket prices have gone down.

"One month after launching the beta version prices declined by as much as 30%, an absolute benefit to the consumer. In contrast there is an increase in sales by 30%. A great development for us and for the industry, "said a satisfied Sebastian Monteban.


Worldticketshop is now a formidable rival of the renowned European ticket platforms Seatwave, Viagogo and GetMeIn. Unlike these competitors Worldticketshop is privately funded. Worldticketshop also positions itself as the ticket marketplace with the largest reach in Europe. In order to succeed Worldticketshop aims to distinguish itself with an optimal use of internet marketing and provide brilliant service. The new marketplace will over time be offered in twenty languages so buyers can buy and sell tickets in their own language.
