US Primary Ticketing Company TicketForce Rolls out New Facebook App

altArizona-based TicketForce has now jumped from "Take your ticketing Social," with advanced Social Media Campaigns on Facebook to offering a fully integrated Facebook app. Lynne King Smith, CEO of TicketForce, recently told Arizona Now that they will be merging ticket sales with the social media powerhouse in hopes to create an all-inclusive process for potential concert goers.

"We push the mark,” Smith said. “[We] take it a step further and have everything right in front you –[a]buy tickets tab.”

They rate their success on minimizing processing fees to compete with the likes of Ticketmaster offering white label ticketing solutions, which in effect removes private agencies from the purchasing process and “makes the ticketing process more relationship based,” Smith added. This allows for minimal fees, usually between $.50 and $2.00.

They also told Arizona Central in an interview:

In January, they unveiled one of their latest ideas at INTIX, an international ticketing convention. As far as they know, they're the first in the ticketing industry to use a Facebook application that allows customers to purchase tickets directly from a venue's profile page.

King-Smith said the app fits perfectly with their idea that the venue, no matter its size, should be the name that's front and center.

"How many people really want to be friends of a great big huge company on Facebook? . . . But you may like your favorite venue in Tempe, like the Clubhouse," King-Smith said. "You're probably friends with them on Facebook because you want to know when their events are and it's unique to you."

They now offer tickets in 48 states and Canada.
