Italian Promoters take on Secondary Ticket Market

After record sales of more than 600,000 tickets last year between stadiums, arenas and theaters, Italy's Ligabue has blistered through 100,000 tickets sold for Campovolo 2.0, the live event to be held July 16 in Airport of Reggio Emilia.

However, in a surprise move organizers (Riservarossa and F&P Group) decided to drop 10,000 new tickets on the market and try to put a nozzle on the secondary ticket market.

The event itself is huge, considering that it is a single concert by a single artist in a single day and the demand from all over Italy far exceeds the supply.

2.0 Campovolo comes to closing a remarkable year, during which Ligabue has been crowned artist of the year, with a knockout record and huge live tour with 16 sold out stadium dates, 12 dates sold out arenas, and 28 dates sold out in theaters.
