Worldticketshop Expands to Switzerland and Austria with Dedicated Sites
altWorldticketshop, a leading secondary ticket marketplace in Europe has recently announced that they are expanding their reach with launching new dedicated websites for Austria and Switzerland.
 
“Our goal is to be a market leader in the German speaking part of Europe (Germany, Austria and Switzerland),” said CEO Sebastian Monteban. “And with the launch of our new design last week, the online experience is optimized and much more smooth and ergonomic.”
 
The Dutch company, trading since 2006, recently made the transition in late 2010 to a secondary ticket marketplace, allowing fans to buy and sell tickets – and have sites in English, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Czech, Polish, Swedish, Russian, Hungarian, and Portuguese.
 
The award winning Dutch e-commerce company has won the Gazellen Award, is nominated for Red Herring 100 Europe, and is listed in the Twinkle100 of fastest growing Dutch e-commerce companies.
 
When asked by EU Ticket News about future expansion, Monteban noted:
 
“Maybe in the future… the USA?”
