GPS Business News,an online media providing business insights on mass market geo-location applications, has interviewed Kelly
Tompkins, CEO and founder of ReserveX, who is confident that his
soon-to-launch location-based mobile ticketing platform is going to
start filling those empty seats: “We feel we can change that rate.”
Players
such as Tickets.com, Ticketmaster and Live Nation already offer systems
that allow other application developers to query their inventories and
buy tickets. But
ReserveX is going farther. The Altadena, California-based company is
offering a new ticketing tool that marries the aggregation of primary
and secondary ticketing markets with revenue management technology. Tompkins
said the platform, which is launching in the autumn, is designed around
location services to enable mobile carriers to integrate entertainment
ticketing into their offering.
