World Cup Tickets nearly sold out - Over 130,000 World Cup tickets sold over the weekend
World Cup TicketsOver 140000 World Cup tickets were sold since the start of over-the-counter sales on Thursday, but sales remain slow for games outside major South African urban centres. "Some 75,000 of those were sold at FNB branches, some 25,000 at the ticketing centres and 30,000 via FIFA.com and Call Centres," FIFA said this week.

Ultimate Fighting Championships UFC in Vancouver sells out in 30 minutes

Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White announced via Twitter that pre-sale tickets for UFC 115 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada sold out in a mere 30 minutes. Premium members, the UFC Fight Club, got first go at tickets Tuesday morning and gobbled them up quickly, followed by regular fans trying to get access to the event scheduled for June 12th.

French Open Sold Out - Roland Garros To Be Packed Full

French Open TicketsThe French press is reporting that the Roland Garros French Open tennis tournament in Paris has had no seats available since February 28th. No tickets will be sold over the counter - as was traditionally the case a few days before each tournament. For tennis enthusiasts, the only recourse, will be to get some tickets for access to the outside courts (from 15 hours or 17 hours) recovered from spectators leaving the stadium early, or invitation by a business partner of the event.

NBA to Tour Europe this Fall
NBA EuropeThe New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, of the National Basketball Association (NBA) , and Regal FC Barcelona (FCB) as well as  AJ Milano from Euroleague Basketball, will play a series of preseason games this October as part of NBA Europe Live. Barcelona, London, Milan, and Paris will host the games.

Ticket Sales Halted for Dutch Cup Final

The Dutch football association has stopped the sale of cup final tickets for neutral sections of the host stadium due to fears that tickets will fall into the wrong hands, according to Nos tv.

Many sections of the Rotterdam’s Kuip stadium are now likely to be empty during the match on April 25.
